Yo a warning for anyone planning to purchase theOctober 18, 2021, 7:56 am Yo a warning for anyone planning to purchase the Animal Crossing DLC: I guess if you try to buy the upgraded NSO plan with it included and then try to drop down to a lower tier, you lose access to the DLC Literally it`d be so goofy Depending on what your NSO plan pricing is, you could be looking at paying the price of the AC DLC several times over, only to potentially lose it when the Switch is gone and Nintendo moves on to the next thing. I just hate that everything has to be a subscription model now @ZarszGaming They GOT that money from the og OOT when they released it, I`m not mad that they want some money for the time it took them to port it, but I am a bit annoyed that instead of getting the 6-10 bucks as a one time payment, now they get subscription money, constantly. Not only get sales but like... i bought Majora`s Mask and OoT on VC on wii.. then the remasters again on 3Ds. And now they are telling me I can`t play OoT on switch without their online service. And its not even the remaster they worked hard on @ZarszGaming Idk I`m sure it`s a little more complicated than dropping roms on the store but like, I`m still kinda pissed at a comment they made that they`d never drop more GBA games on a VC because they`re "too hard" Yeah i imagine it is hard for them to justify just ripping all that content out of people`s houses the minute they lose access to the dlc lmao Why would you wanna be protective of that? Nintendo would never release something like a virtual console where you could buy old nintendo games that were backwards compatible across 2 generations and then suddenly get rid of that service for years on their most popular device. Also, it may not be worth it to go to an upgraded NSO plan unless you really see yourself only playing the DLC for a bit and want to play Genesis/64 a bunch. Make sure yall do your math I`m v concerned with keeping my gaming library as "safe" as possible (keeping it stable so that closing eshops/online services in 10+ years won`t affect the games I can still play too much). I kind of expected this to be the case since thats how playstation`s ps+ works and games with gold :/ i wish they also included like older dlc like zelda and fire emblem too |
