Is this u trying to get a negative reaction No those aren`t the same things. The 360 was a manufacturing defect. The SSD is some thing the end user chooses to opt in. The thing to do would have been to provide a list of recommended devices and show the user how to install them. It`s basic customer support.

You have been able to swap out the internal drive in your PlayStation without voiding the warranty since the PS3. Now with the PS5 you can add an additional internal drive. On top of that you dont have to buy one from Sony at a fixed price. No Xbox has ever had this option.
I`ve seen both sides, and honestly watching both fandoms attack each other is just sad..
Its in beta and because of that can still lead to failures. It`s not a solution til it`s out of beta.
It can`t fail since it`s not proprietary, uses PC parts and is a better bang for buck. All in all Xbox storage is gonna be a hard pill to swallow if we compare to what`s available with the competition

what people arent seeing as the advantage here is its the same type of drives that are made for pc`s which is better because of the choice on xbox you have an expansion card and thats it. choice will always be better than no choice.
