Wow that was quickAugust 6, 2021, 12:50 pm Wow that was quick. Obviously we wont see a price drop this year but next year Sony has a huge leverage of MS cant get the manufacturing cost down to be competitive in 2022. Why do you zealots act like you all know the business side of anything? Just enjoy the hobby and let actual business people worry about that. They cut cost could explain why they have battery and drift issues with the controller. And overheat problems with the console itself. At the trend of the day that dont mater my PlayStation will still be used for exclusives just like this last gen and my Xbox will be my main. Because the PS5 wasn`t a premium console all along. Y`all ponies got finessed and you out here celebrating like the clowns you are. Sony lowers the price of the PS5 Microsoft will do the same with the Xbox Series X/S the only difference being Sony will still charge you $70 dollars for Playstation 1st party games and Director`s Cuts while Microsoft will keep Xbox 1st party games at $40 to $60 and release in GP Damn Puerto Rican 77. Guess those billions off gamepass just goes into the trash keep telling MS the trillion dollar company how to do business moving forward Xbox is recouping losses via Gamepass/Xbox Live. They`ve already stated this. However, if you read the article, is says PSnow Subs are down 1.5m which obviously has an impact on revenue. It likely calculates the scalped PS5 sitting on shelves OR players are truely disgrunted The disk version is breaking even but the digital is still selling at a loos.. think it`ll be a minute before a price drop Ms will eat any cost to remain competetive. If you don`t believe that you ain`t being paying attention. It`s good for Sony they have the costs down, but no way will MS let them simply have a price drop with no answer Is Ps4Pro still the same price as Ps5 digital or nah??? Why would they need to price drop the more (heck Most!) desirable product? You forget Microsoft is a Goliath compared to Sony right ??? They forced Sony to price the PS5 at $499 and if Sony dropped the price Microsoft would easily follow suit. If this is true, it sucks to be Horatiu Dragne. You guys really believe those prices or you are paid to believe them and influence other people believe in them? I am sure sony ps5 uefa champions league commercial was pretty expensive. If MS drops the price, that would mean loosing even more money on each console. Not sure if they`re willing to do that. It`s interesting though. Sony isn`t broke That`s not what I`m saying What I`m saying is that they`re going to have to start dipping into the honey pot to pay these people and what I mean by that is selling some of the stuff that they own or making drastic changes. Probably why they bought that PC studio It`s not old bro It`s the truth.... The thing that`s working in Sony`s favor is that they have a lot of long-term debt meaning that debt isn`t coming due within the same year. Market cap is their "value". If they continue on the same path It will catch up to them eventually. The point is simply selling a console a profit is not going to bring them back from massive debt... more than what they`re worth... billions more than what they`re worth... And yet they keep borrowing money. MS is playing the long game and doesn`t have this issue. Simple. NOT WRONG This is the 1st console that has also been used as servers... furthermore the past does not dictate the future. A profit on sales is different from a profit on services. If you can double you profit with services but lose some on hardware did you really lose? Exactly! Expect a price drop at Christmas Scalpers have a lot of the consoles... Seriously, how much does a PS5 cost to make? This doesn`t sound right Easy to make a profit on $500 hardware that was designed in an afternoon on a bar napkin and held together with duct tape, elmers glue and dreams props to sony but this dont effect xb at all. they still gonna stay in they lane and spend when they need to only thing that matters is whatever satya You speaking German, they don`t understand my boy |
