Why is Android Twitter SO BAD compared to iOSOctober 18, 2021, 4:54 pm Why is Android Twitter SO BAD compared to iOS Twitter? because you don`t like it Bruh I keep hearing people say this. I literally have the same experience on both. I have zero issues on Android or iOS. My biggest annoyance with the Android app is that the nav bar dissapears when you go into a thread and that can turn into a big pain if you go far enough into a thread. It`s also in general just.. slow in comparison to the iOS app. I`m using a budget Samsung phone from last year and twitter runs really well, I`ve had no problems with it. WHAT iOS twitter is worse True tho, i experience lag while scrolling twitter, dk why it isnt optimised yet One answer. Optimization. I use Instagram on my android and never seem to have any issues, especially in stories, what is everyone referring to? I use both don`t have problems with either hm, i haven`t noticed that. i do have a flagship tho I`ve only tried web & android twitter, I don`t see any issues/concerns with either. But apps like twitter tend to be less optimized for android than IOS because there are just so much androids phones out there and they can`t make a separate version of twitter for each. Haven`t noticed any disadvantage between the two, except for darkmode based on system settings that has been fixed recently on Android. On Instagram tho, better experience on iOS. I don`t have any difference? I`ll keep an eye out for that. My biggest issue with Twitter in general is the lack of an edit tweet button which would fix my typo in my question. What is qrobg with android Twitter? I haven`t used Twitter for iPhone in quite awhile so can`t remember. Serious question I have not experienced stutter or lag to know what you`re talking about. I have no doubt it happens. Maybe I don`t use it the same way. Might be. I always find pros and cons with pretty much every app between both OS. Youtube and twitter have been better on my A70. Facebook and netflix are miles better on IOS. It`s the other way around lol Why did the chicken cross the road? They the slight stutter is the thing I notice but if Im honest in general I still prefer using my pixel to my iPhone. The odd app difference isnt enough to make me prefer iOS overall. Honestly, I don`t have any issues on android. It`s much smoother than IOS on my devices. Only thing I`ve gas on android is when it says you have a DM but havn`t. Twitter on android works way better for me. I have problems with my iPhone saying that stuffs been read before it has. Come over to the IOS side, where stuff just works! How do you mean? iOS Twitter marks all mentions and comments as `Read` before you can see where the first one starts. At least Android leaves it highlighted so you can see what`s new and what you`ve already seen. What is it for you? And Instagram stories Its one of the reasons I changed to IOS a few years back. I use Insta Stories daily and the Android experience was awful. I think they design IOS versions as priority? |
