What`s the excuse for this? The scrolling on Twitter and Instagram on Android is horrible. Meanwhile scrolling with an iPhone on these same apps is smooth and fluid. Is it a developer thing?

I can agree with this. Scrolling on Twitter and Instagram is horrible on android. Its just laggy and sometimes unresponsive. On the other hand, Twitter on IOS aint that great since its last update.

Well my Instagram scrolling has never been bad on Android. But I can say for sure Twitter has on and off. It`s not a Android problem more on the developers,being other apps are just fine with scrolling.
It`s a Twitter bug. But on my Pixel is almost not noticeable.
