The truth is: it`s time for PS2 games toJuly 11, 2022, 4:30 am The truth is: it`s time for PS2 games to start getting released on Steam en masse. Yeah for real, playstation plus is underwhelming with its retro library, having actual ports of ps2 games would be great This is the most powerful idea I`ve ever seen. Yeah I`ll probably see Dark Cloud 2 on steam the same day I see Dark Cloud 3 release Man even Konami re-releasing the pc ports that some dedicated fans have since redone with HD assets would be great. I would like to play Ephemeral Fantasia and Legaia 2: Duel Saga on PC... oh, and Ring of Red. I have been thinking about PS2 era and older games a lot recently. Part of me would like to play them all but due to lack of time I think I`ll just stick to archiving what I got online just so they will always exist. With every fiber of my being. Please. Yes. I think the biggest problem with this is actively finding people willing to release moderate quality Ports and or Emulations, and securing rights that may have lapsed. But I`m all for weird niche PS2 games getting thrust into the 20-30 dollar world. Like fucking Sphinx did it! |
