The ASUS Transformer Book Trio runs Android AND Windows 8!November 1, 2013, 3:56 pm ASUS has made the transformation of gadgets an art in itself. Having shown before a number of different devices which combine features and cross different product sectors, now they seem to have overdone themselves with their new Transformer Book Trio, an innovative device which runs both Windows 8 and Android! There is a base-PC-part, with a 1.6GHz Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard disk which runs Microsoft`s Windows 8 OS. But when you need the device on the road, you can just detach the gadget`s 11.6-inch 1080p display and take with you an Android 4.2-based tablet packing a 1.6GHz Atom, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage! Is that neat or what?! ASUS is one of the most innovative computer makers (let`s not forget their best-know invention, the NetBook, which flooded the planet a few years ago!) and with the release of the Transformer Book Trio they might just have a hit in their hands, even though the pricing could be a bit better. The Transformer Book Trio will first be available to the UK on November 11th and it will be priced at £900. |
