I remember the days when my non Apple phones just worked as I expected them to.
Funny thing is I never owned a windows phone but I experienced windows mobile OS, now I miss that simply. Microsoft only had a behavior of dropping support just like that, and now Windows 7 is no more.

This phone was way ahead of it`s time The ability to play Asphalt and other High end games smoothly on budget Lumia phones with 512mb ram while the same would require a mid-range andriod phone atleast 2-3gb of ram and still lag

I had a phone once that I only kept for a few hours before exchanging it because there were almost zero apps I wanted from their App Store. It was like a ghost town in there.
The Nokia Lumia was the best dang phone ever. Windows Phone OS was (still is) better than iOS bloatware.
Its like having the Start menu on the palm of your hand.

This Lumia 800 camera takes better photos than my Galaxy S9 Not pictured: an Icon stored at work. My home screen shows me latest stuff from my apps but not really using Widgets. And has this consistent look.
No operating system can be customized like Windows Phone. I miss it so much! <3

Voice messaging in my car actually worked, regardless of what I was driving.
Used to Remote Desktop, and browse file shares (via Wifi).
I can search & switch tabs with a press of a button I can view info at a glance by tapping on the screen ...and at least I can still download IG photos & videos

Having ZZ Top`s Afterburner as my wallpaper, and seeing that hot rod burst through my live tiles... (I still use my Lumia 820 as an alarm clock) Phone with exceptional minimalism yet feels good, sleek and stylish. Had amazing unbeatable camera, and featured the best AI assistant ever.

My phone used to work properly, and lasted longer than a day without charging.
I recall having some sort of preview of the windows phones tiles on my iPhone to convert iPhone users over, very nearly did then they disappeared...
