Swiss made $1,200 Smartwatch with 41MP Camera and Biometric Sensors, announced

It seems not a single day passes by without more news or rumors about smartwatches hitting the market. The latest come from Hyetis, a Swiss company which makes waves online today with the Crossbow, a $1,200 smartwatch that features a massive 41-megapixel camera. A little bit like a Lumia 1020 for your wrist, the news are based on the renderings shown on the company€™s website, so we can`t really say how realistic this piece of wearable technology is.
Hyetis says that €œat this stage some technical features can vary on the production model.€ However, the company is already taking pre-orders for the Crossbow.
The Hyetis Crossbow will also feature a zoom lens, a ring flash, a noise canceling microphone, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS and Biometric sensors. The smartwatch will apparently be able to sync with iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8 devices, and appears to also display the weather, email and text messages, all on a working analog clock face.
With rumored smartwatches from the likes of Apple, Samsung and even LG hitting the market soon, it remains to be seen who will come first in releasing the ultimate of wearable hi-tech gadgets for 2013.
