Sony`s Japanese PlayStation account is teasing a new PS5January 22, 2022, 9:16 pm Sonys Japanese PlayStation account is teasing a new PS5 commercial dropping tomorrow. People are getting excited thinking the 123 means PS1, PS2, and PS3 back compat. Sony hasnt even enabled VRR on the PS5 yet, so yeah. Its just a TV commercial Wait is old games cool now? Sony done it again They always ahead of the curve I just hope it`s something PlayStation fans can get excited about so they can stop thinking and or talking about Xbox for at least 30 seconds. Smh. Think simple with Sony, It`s just the date as we can see! Lol That`s weird. For years, ever since Xbox got backwards compatibility, all I`ve been seeing is people say that they don`t want to play old games. Seems more like 1.23 not 1, 2, 3 maybe an update for vr PlayStation have all the limits lol Tom, you may have made people cry with that. This is definitely just a regular commercial, but why would the lack of VRR preclude PlayStation from discussing Project Spartacus? Especially when they seem to be preparing for it with the PS Now cards being taken off shelves recently. Is back compat really that simple to implement in a console like PS5? If so, then why didn`t they just do it at launch? Makes no sense. Looks like the 1.23 means January 23 to me Ill believe it when I see it it`s not like their TVs would be able to use it well anyway... I regret my X90H purchase but it was on sale lol I was thinking Spartacus reveal should just buy them out lol you make no sense what if they didnt work on that because they worked on this it is very possible this is back compat . IF not no biggy but to dismiss the possability because " they don`t have a basic feature " is shilling. if this is back compat that`s awesome Ponies really get excited about anything from Sony Even Steam Deck will be released with VRR support, while here people are still waiting for VRR on PS5. Na, its definitely backwards compatibility, it can`t be anything but, they used 1,2 and 3 and thats all it can mean /s Think the 1.23 is just because its 23rd January Im afraid, but never know Always so negative when it`s something PS, let people have their fun. Tomorrow is 01/23 too . Still no vrr, wow that`s awful I wonder if they are about to bring out a Series S competitor. One that uses a cut down SOC and software solution to their compression and decompression chip thats currently supply constrained. Either that or they are buying SquareEnix. They are counting their OK + games I dont think its back compat, but what does enabling VRR have to do with playing previous gen games? Last time people were excited for anything Playstation exclusive in Japan was some weird event with streamers that literally didnt show anything we didnt know already.. People are bored. And 1.23 is today in Japan. They are scared since lost ActiBlizz It`s an ad for a pop singer. I would love to see backwards compatibility come to the Playstation 5. If it did, I would purchase one instantly. So many great games released on the older PlayStation consoles. Yea no shot back compat is coming anytime soon |
