A lot of apps began as iPhone only. Specially social apps that are not made by multimillion companies. The nature of Clubhouse, being an audio app, makes it more difficult to support a massive quantity of users from the get go. They do what they can with what they have.

Tbh, Im on Clubhouse and I truly cannot figure out the *point*. It really just seems like a great way to listen to 1200 users shouting all at once in a dollar store version of Zoom. And the UX is absolutely terrible.
