Seeing everyone appreciating so much NTWEWY is really making me curious about playing the first game

The DS is the original and the Switch Version has touchscreen controls in handheld mode which I recommend. So yeah. Like the original
OMG DO ITTTT I`ve played it sooooo many times, and it was my first (and only) game where I got 100% on everything
it definitely helps with lore. not Kingdom Hearts full lockout if you don`t play each game in order of release, but a lot of the characters have special meaning if you play it. (even some shopkeepers are meticulously preserved from game 1)
Do play it, as much neo stuff is actually just spoilers from the first game

I waited for this sequel 9 or so years (wait is a strong word I never thought this day would come). The original game is an absolute masterpiece and it always has been, neo is fun if you enjoy it you should check the original game.

That and the original DS version had a way more fun, complex, and unique gameplay style. Which`s why you often hear complaints about the switch/mobile version`s gameplay even though it isn`t bad by any means.
I`d recommend playing the first game in Handheld with a stylus You can get it on mobile, ds and switch ooooo interesting might play the original TWEWY too then!!
