Samsung ecosystem is nearly there but let`s not forget,July 16, 2021, 1:54 am Samsung ecosystem is nearly there but let`s not forget, Samsung ecosystem is much more dynamic. I think people are forgetting it includes, TVs, vacuums, washer and dryers, stove, and many more. Apple cant have the best ecosystems bc it`s too limited. I like both, I have tried to use Samsung for a while but Apple turned out to be the best choice for me for many reasons One of them are some exclusive apps it has (Pro apps and other things I use), which I`ve tried to use alternative apps on Android but it`s not the same thing @billynova This is why I say Samsung ecosystem with just computers and phones = Apples but when you factor in EVERYTHING, Samsung is just superior @billynova What you see in this video, the fluidity is enhanced by 100 since Samsung has improved all of this with updates over the years. The fluidity between the fridge, oven, vacuum, air conditioning units, lights, it`s a press of a button and happens immediately Yeah but Samsung is lazy. They haven`t tied it all together yet. I`m trying to set my wash for tomorrow morning and geta notification that my wash is done, on my Galaxy watch 3, while I`m out jogging. Such wasted potential Because that`s not what I said and you guys clearly misunderstood. I know how to work a phone dumbass. That wasn`t the point of the reply. Forget I said anything. @rmeestudios My son was 15 during the time Nobody beats Samsung when it comes to (let`s call it"a home ecosystem", for that Apple has to make everything Samsung makes (home appliances)Apple might be best when it comes to their laptops/iPads/iPhones,etc ecosystem, but when it comes to home IoT devices, Apple can`t compete not forgetting microwave and air conditioning I work at AT&T and the way Samsung does things is just so overcomplicated. There are 2 places to find all your content. Gallery/Google photos, contacts app/Google contacts, Google account/Samsung account. The Samsung side of all those options doesn`t actually get you anything. I don`t hate Samsung they make great phones! Their skins and software just causes me way more problems than it should. They make things way too complicated Someone tell him Samsung Internet is far better than Google Chrome Apple ecosystem is the only great ecosystem for them Whats made the ecosystem comparable is the galaxy buds automatic switching. Must have feature in an ecosystem for me It was more so an add-on Hey, its better than spending if you already have the device and software The Apple ecosystem is cool but it`s to one dimensional for me. Even if I wasn`t a tech reviewer I would still need the flexibility to have other work arounds. Samsung ecosystem is very good but Apple Watch is what keeps me tied. Issue is the stereo type is android tablets are a pile of shit and that mindset is why tab S7 plus is underrated and why people think the ecosystem doesnt Compare Apple definitely own the US market. I think they both have Good EcoSystems based on Scale I think Apple is better and keeping customers buying over not that Samsung dont but their is more competition for Samsung You`re right. Everyone forgets samsung is in everyone`s life in different forms as SSDs/Batteries/Semiconductors/Panels/GPS receivers/Gyroscopes/WIFi-Bluetooth antennas/Sensors. Be it any brand, Deep inside its all samsung parts apple ecosystem is the best by a good measure when connecting stuff in apples inner ring so apple products and maybe some accessories, but whenever you leave that ring you definitely start to notice the limitations from let`s say smart home and stuff like that that`s where 1/2 The problem is their limitations; which is the reason why Homebridge and others exist You can always use Homebridge on a RPI to get more out of HomeKit. I have added my PS4, 3rd light strips, Wyze cams, Chamberlin MyQ, and almost my car. But I get what youre saying Sadly only 1% of the appliances sold here support smart things. A real bummer for us. But smooth experience a great ecosystem Sorry, I was talking about the other person who said it was a fact. Imagine Hey Bixby, turn on my washing machine Hey Bixby I`m home(Bixby routine) Turns on everything what you want lol Samsung ecosystem is not as seamless as Apple when it comes to few devices and I think More devices connected to you = more seamless experience Lol Samsung`s ecosystem is pointless since it`s already built on Google services. I work at a phone store and trying to get people`s content transferred over is a pain in the ass because I never know if it`s in the cloud or some random Samsung app folder labeled "Contacts" Not really alot but smart things does hook into alot of stuff *cough*, *cough* Samsung Smarthings app , and couple along with Samsung Knox, best kept secret about Samsung`s ecosystem. And how are either a fact. To me both are opinions. I`m on your side Derrick! I do love the new M1 Macs though. Amazing products! Only one of those other things I`d buy, which I have, is a TV. Not touching those other appliances lol. I never thought of it like that because with smart things I control so much. I was so focus on like watch, phone, buds, laptop and tablet. But damn you make a real good point. Because my phone syncs with so many other Samsung products in my house. Not to mention the smart vacuum has HomeKit There are ceiling fans that have HomeKit microwave that has HomeKit stoves and fridges has HomeKit TV and speakers have HomeKit The thermostat has it the humidifier has it they all blend perfectly into the Apple ecosystem and not one of the products I purchase are from Samsung To be honest, I don`t actually think Samsung needs to get there on its own. The Google Play Store fills out the gap. You get the full ecosystem experience with Android/Samsung, just not all from the one vendor. I totally agree, a lot of native things are missing. However, a huge benefit of these platforms being open source (Samsung and Google included) is that you can easily add a Raspberry Pi (or any old computer) for almost *any* appliance and add that Pi to your platform of choice. Chill you going too hard on the kid, us the once that know the truth know Samsung is only getting better till they take over the planet, shit I wouldnt be surprise if Samsung partners with the Galaxy & takes over the planets, after all there phones are named Galaxy for a reason The Apple ecosystem here really refers to the way the devices work together connected by all the company`s entertainment and other service offerings. Its like the same though I don`t think you include a number of the Samsung products as part of its ecosystem - even if it is a good point you make. To include them all, they`d all have to be connected by IoT. When Apple ecosystem let`s you control your appliances in your house when you`re not even there, including the lights, garage, air conditioning, etc... then we can talk and yes, I do this, daily. |
