@cwnutrition In addition outside of a few countries the majority of phones in the world run on Android rather than IOS. One site predicts a forecast of 87% of the phones will be android. In 2019 only 22% were on IOS.
Sure but an overlay on Android versus none on iOS doesnt give the user an advantage. Plus that restriction is from Apple not Niantic. No apples are allowed to overlay on iOS.
Niantic cant detect it like they can detect spoofing apps.
They don`t. If they banned people who used poke genie and CalcyIV, a lot of people would get banned.
If Niantic had a better Iv checker, people wouldn`t have to use Poke genie.
I believe Defit doenst mess with your location. Just simulates you running/walking. Defit doesn`t work directly with the PoGo app, only with the Google Fit/Apple Fit. Then of course Adventure Sync kicks in.

Again, gotcha only catches whats around, yeah its auto but youre not augmenting what you can actually obtain. On the other hand you are with the others, I think thats where the line is IMO

Given Niantic and Pokmon both acknowledge the use of poke ball plus I think its fair as technically its only catching whats around you anyway. Given that defit and swings actually manipulate what realistically cannot be done....
Thats an interesting point. I suppose if auto-catch is even possible with Nintendos device then to me I think thats fair to use an auto-catch device. The dual catch is a little iffy for me but then again I dont care what people do.
Why complain. If they are jealous... just do it too if not then who cares
On iOS its not even allowed as an overlay. Its literally a third party app that scans a screenshot and then provides info thats easy to obtain anyway. The old school IV checkers used your login and password to obtain such information which is why they were against the TOS.

I dont think a gotcha is cheating because Nintendo has made their own version compatible and it does the same thing if you tie the strap down on it

Jup... That`s why I don`t understand this talk right now ... 90% are "cheating"... I have some locals here who play with 5 accounts at the same time and have fun with that... Should I judge them cause it`s against TOS? I don`t care... You don`t hit legend just by "cheating"
