A lot of hacky shortcut workarounds like this can be made into system-level shortcut actions. Good to see Apple doing this. Still waiting for full background automations and the ability to run shortcuts from third-party apps without opening up Shortcuts on iOS.
okay I feel like this might help put things in perspective. here`s Google Cloud Text-to-Speech vs. IBM Watson Text-to-Speech (how many years and how many billions? lmao) vs. Siri Voice 2 given the exact same text input. well... if anyone else would care, Adam, still in awe of your original Shortcut. I *strongly* suspect your work, alone is soley responsible for the Make Spoken Text From Audio action being added. (unless I`m missing something.)
