LG announces new GX smartphone

LG is getting stronger by the day in the global smartphone marketplace, releasing quality smartphones in very competitive prices, both in the budget and the higher-end of the market. The latest LG smarphone to be announced is the new GX, an improved version of the company`s successful LG Optimus Pro.The device comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 
a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor augmented by 2GB of RAM, 
32GB of built-in storage 
and runs on Android Jelly Bean. A 13-megapixel camera is also on-board the device, as well as a 2.1-megapixel front-facing one, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0.
Even thought the new gadget doesn`t support LTE-Advanced, it does support VoLTE (voice-over-LTE).Interestingly, it also comes with a feature with allows you to view your caller, or even a text arriving on the phone, on an compatible LG TV-set.
Other software features, include "
LTE U + Navi" for real-time traffic info when driving and "
Smart Day" which displays weather info on the lock screen.
LG has announced the GX coming out tomorrow, Dec the 17th in South Korea, but we will have to wait a bit longer for pricing and worldwide availability info.
