Lenovo unveils new S930 and S650 smartphonesDecember 17, 2013, 4:59 pm Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has unveiled two new smartphones. The new S930 is a larger phablet-style gadget while the S650 is a more "traditional" smaller one. The Lenovo S930 comes with a 6-inch 720p resolution screen and a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek 6852 processor augmented by 1GB of RAM. The phablet has 8GB of storage on-board and a rather large 3,000mAh battery. The Lenovo S650 is a more "conventional" 4.7-inch screen gadget, featuring the same processor as the S930 and the same 8GB of storage, but understandably has a smaller 2,000mAh battery. Lenovo will release both of the new smartphones in December in some markets, but most probably Lenovo will not bring them out in Europe or in the U.S.According to Phandroid, the S650 will be priced at roughly 265 euro while the S930 phablet will be about 310 euros. Both of the new smartphones run on Android (the exact version of which is currently not known) and a layer of Lenovo`s own UI. |
