Lenovo announces its new Yoga 2 Pro with a 3,200 x 1,800 screen!September 5, 2013, 5:01 pm The new Yoga 2 is a pure beauty! But there is more to it than just looks; its 13-inch, 350-nit, 3,200 x 1,800 touchscreen, puts well ahead of its competition, to a completely different level actually! The new model runs on fourth-gen Intel Core processors (all the way up to i7), and its battery life now is rated at up to nine hours. Lenovo`s new Yoga also adds Intel Wireless Display, in accordance with the current Ultrabook spec. The new model is just 15.5mm thick (versus 17.1mm on the original) and now weighs a little over 3 pounds (3.06, to be exact, or 1.39kg). Lenovo has also added a backlit keyboard to the new Yoga 2, a great feature that Apple introduced many years ago and surprisingly few PC manufacturers include in their portable designs. The Yoga 2 will be available in October starting at $1,100.All in all, this is major upgrade over the "old" Yoga and one that makes Lenovo`s new offering a serious contender to our top list of Ultrabooks! |
