Kinda crazy that non-techy Apple people always talk about how bad Android cameras are, when in reality Apple might not be top 3 for photos

Non-techy Apple people dont talk about Android or its cameras.

Nothing tops Google Pixel photos. And the new OS really fixes the skin color representation.

Ok .tell me the top 3 camera phones now

Android is just an os. Nothing to do with camera so its not Apple vs android its Apple vs whatever other phone company it is. Just because they use android doesnt make android superior

iPhone 14 pro is the best smartphone camera according to dxomark Because they judge based on what they see on social media, most of the videos/ pictures uploaded by Android users look cheap. However, many high-end Android phones have a strong camera (I do personally love them), but they always lose the sharpness when age, unlike apple.

Haha in what world are u living. The 14 pro did second place in DXOMark which are the best regarding camera benchmarking

So whats the third that knocks the iPhone out of the top three?

Saying these things without giving proof or valuable information means nothing;-) in the end technical measurements can show the differences and they speak for themselves. From a consumer point of view most people will never tell the difference

DXOMark begs to differ. Millions of Apple users beg to differ:-)

And thats is true. Android Shots are overprocessed.

Non techy people still believe that iPhone battery life sucks and Samsung is the king of battery life in flagship phones. I saw on TikTok that someone said the iPhone 13 Pro Max had batter battery life than the s22 ultra but the creator got attacked extremely hard

Point and shoot there are definitely other Android phones that can do it better cough cough Pixel. But iPhones camera processing isnt bad at all I mean yes hit and miss with HDR at times but still a solid camera system. I think end of the day its fan boys being fan boys

apple has a pretty balanced camera system tho. one of the best main sensors, one of the best ultrawide and one of the best 3x cameras. nothing crazy but they all work good. the s22u with crazy 100x zoom has a worse 3x zoom lense which sucks.

Doesn`t really matter as most social media sites only uploads at 1080p

Vivo, Xiaomi and Samsung can beat the iPhone easily in photography just saying this out loud as iPhone owner

Lets be honest. Android users on Twitter talk way more about iPhones and Apple users than the other way around.

Ouch. Not touching this one. Mostly because of third party app support. Any TikToks made on Androids looks choppy and low quality.

Same with Siri, they tell me how smart Siri is without knowing that google assistant is smarter and more accurate

I take way more photos on iPhone than I ever did on my android phones just because of UI and lag free experience besides the fact iPhone photos looks more realistic.

for photos & for video? lol.

Android cameras are great but iPhone cameras are more reliable in my experience. You point you shoot and you get a nice picture most of the time and the video is still really really good. But I hate nobody talks about the front camera where most flagships have them beat

Flagship Android cams are often good but midrange budget Android cams can be a hit & miss the shutter speed lags & freezes. I`ve owned multiple Androids over the years & some have tarrible cam & require more editing then should be necessary for a basic photo to see the detail.

I prefer googles also but most of all I prefer my own.

Vivios processing speeds and V1+ and the T* coating and the options for LUTs is incredible too. Im hoping to see Google do some more tuning and speed up the image processing now that theyve got the skin tones down.

I wouldn`t forget Huawei. They are not a player as much as they used to be but the cameras on their phones are fire

Ive been let down by the colors feeling overdone and the saturation changes theyve made. Also, natural background blur on many other devices beat Google. Im hoping for improvements with the new photo processing from Tensor 2.

If we consider imports, Id say Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo and IQOO devices would be ahead of Apple, Samsung and Google, for stills.
