It aint none Fitbit is catching up and now that Google has acquired it, it might reach to a point where it can be compared with Apple Watch after a tight integration with Android but theres still time in that.

I have the GWatch3 and WSeries6 paired with my iPhone 12 Pro Max the GW3 last me only 1/2 day!!! The WS6 2days . Paired with my s21Ultra the GW 3 last 3 days! Why? Whats wrong here! Both watches are ok and both needs improvement!

In 2016, every technology company decided that instead of taking risks it would give up and only focus on the things it could monopolize. Microsoft wouldnt try it because they gave up on mobile and only did windows. Google gave up so they prioritized android. No ones trying.

Different markets, really. Wear is dominated by fashion brands, not tech brands. For general use, watches are fashion oriented. Fitbits and Garmins are fitness focused and are designed as such

Some people just want a watch on their wrist. The Apple watch is almost like a small iPhone on wrist.
App me watch might be a Better/smoother running watch but its certainly not anything to look at. Plus iPhone doesnt age well. Using iPhone 12 Pro next to my Note 10+ on a daily basis, the Note is the go to for power and performance.
Garbage doesn`t need competition
It`s because of a lack of apps for Wear OS. We`ve got perfectly capable components (now, at least, maybe not a bit ago) but there`s just not enough solid apps for Wear OS like WatchOS has. Wear OS needs more support from Google and more support from developers.

Agreed, we need heathy competition to keep Apple innovating. They are SOO far ahead of the game there is little motivation to do anything different.

This is 100% true. The rise of the smart watches has boosted mechanical watches a lot. You buy an AppleWatch, you love it, you wanna know more about it but its only got about 6 years of history and then you stumble upon hundreds of years of watchmaking. Youre sucked in.

The serious competition to the Apple Watch is the rise in demand for mechanical watches. I have seen a few people ditch their smart watch for a good ol Rolex. Nothing else with a display comes close to the Apple Watch, and nothing comes close to mechanical

Bro, happened 3 years ago as Samsung Watch. Now Watch 4 is the best of Wear OS and Tizen. My favourite though is the Ticwatch Pro 3. Loving it!

If you live in the ecosystem, does everything balanced but lives for a day or two? Nothing. If you want to have a sports and workout data oriented one, garmin or coros.
