- Is switching from an iPhone to a Samsung a good decision?
iPhone users, what`s keeping you away from switching toJune 30, 2022, 7:43 pm iPhone users, what`s keeping you away from switching to Android? iMessage, my AirPods, my Mac, build quality The rest of my family uses iPhone, otherwise I would be using an Android as my main phone. The ecosystem. Im so deep into it I dont think I can ever leave without literally changing every device I own Pretty sure you also have to opt in for those ads & plus they are very easy to remove, literally just hold it down, then press a button. Because they have not tried Android devices, especially Samsung devices in the higher categories, Android is better, I say that and I am a previous iPhone user My apple watch and the ease of use with my AirPods. And I`m satisfied with iPhone I used both, iOS apps are just more stable iMessage, airdrop, camera quality, IOS software, Apple eco system just works better, At this stage, its like android is another language I no longer know and wont ever learn again. OnePlus lost its way. Samsung is overpriced. Nothing else worth considering. Except maybe nothingphone The question is wrong you put all android phones in one basket is wrong Iphone is flagship except se so have to compare with flagship as well The ecosystem also Samsung has a very good Ecosystem watch tablet buds tv Ac ect., work great together but another android company not Admin let this matter rest Lackluster eco system. The cost it would take to switch everything. I do keep handy a relatively recent Samsung when I feel the itch, though. Only camera of iPhone the rest is crap in iPhone. Timely software updates. Android is keeping me away from switching to Android. Nothing lol. I love both I couldnt care about having either I`ve experienced iOS and Android. Androids are better in the first few months and after that everything gets slower. And with iPhones you won`t get that and it keeps getting smoother with the updates. Only downside is battery but that applies for android too so... Mostly iMessage and camera quality. Ive test drive the S21 and S22 Ultras and I cant get a good indoor picture of my cat or dog. If theres even the smallest amount of motion or hold for an extra beat it seems to blur the photo. If it was taking posed people it would be good . The overall experience and resell value. Except Samsung no brand can give good resell value and Samsungs last 2 flagships have started giving problems after 1-2 years, if Im buying a flagship I want to use it more than 2 years at least Simplicity on the GUI. Easy access to everything. Its like magic. Once you touch an iphone is so smooth and easy to use. Its like LSD you taste it once and makes u wanna do it again Can`t even think of switching . . . . . Because I don`t have iPhone Superior video quality and longevity of their phones (updates/processing power). I own an Apple Watch. Mostly, i have music in iTunes, and don`t feel like figuring out how to get iTunes onto android, although tbh I`m probably going to when i do get a new phone. Virus when i watching Porn! Since when Samsung removed ads from their phone . The image maybe not recent but Samsung still showing ads on their midrange phones the learning curve from iOS to android Android has too many settings options. 3 ways to adjust volume and each volume setting controls different things. I know people enjoy customization, but therea such a thing as too much. iOS has one volume control and a dedicated mute switch. And it just works. I did switch and I mostly miss the fantastic video quality, iMessage and airdrop. Other than that, pretty similar. I will be staying with Android e en though iPhones are my favourite, they`re too expensive. the fluidity after 7 years my phone came out. It doesn`t really work completly perfect but way better than my old huawei. The software on the android phones are for the most part really shit. Their app support is bad too and the camera on the iphone for my personal preference is better Honestly just too many options. iPhones are simple to choose from, and you know what youre getting is good The only reason i never would use an android is the software android/google the devices are great no question I had a Samsung before and I had a bad experience with it Our family is connected via iCloud, iMessages and most of my friends too. Photo/Video backup, good battery life as well as ease of use I guess. Apple offers a trade-in if you want to upgrade, not sure if I can move out of this whole web. User experience, ecosystem, speed & smoothness, durability, design and cameras. iOS 16. Just kidding. iOS 20 Quality, battery, iOS , icloud A cohesive ecosystem with a competent deskop os (not the trashware of ChromeOS). Oh and the option to turn off GPlay too. Neither is perfect, so use both to make up the differences. Simple. The ecosystem of apple just the apps i use are only supported for ios and not coming to android Having too much money to spent Nothing really. I recently bought an iphone 13 so that will keep me away from buying an android till it dies but i was considering both sides and the most important thing for me was battery life and in the price range the 13 was the best choice for me I need this wallpaper At first it was the lack of a good small phone. Now its the Apple Watch. Integration AND THATS IT Well, for me, its 2 things: one is the continuity software updates for older iPhones up to a certain time frame. And two, is the fluidity of how other apple devices work together like the watch, Mac, and iPad. Consistency, product quality, software support, quality apps, software stability Too invested & I do not like Google outside of YouTube. Why are we even having this debate? We are all bowing before Google 1 way or another? Apple ecosystem is almost flawless primarily the ecosystem, i have an iphone, airpods, ipad, and apple watch, they all work seemlessly together, imessage is also very cool Lack of ecosystem. Granted Samsung is getting better along with the Google Pixel. But, its not as advance as Apple. Android is for people who waste time on their phones Ez iOS is just way optimized than Android. Camera and pretty much the feeling of having an iPhone. Android it self as a whole. I hate the double swiping notification/status bar, the cluttered notifications.. intrusive cleaning apps. App removal process.. etc.. Cus there shite ! Next question ! Ecosystem, reliability more passion from the app developers and more support to name a few. The ecosystem and privacy part The software experience and ecosystem. I used a pixel for a year and it drove me crazy with all the bugs and glitches , Same with the s21 I had. No android maker has anything close to the MacBook or AirPods and I use them a lot. Ive given android chances , it just sucks! the smoothness of the apple ecosystem, also if you see and android with the price of an iPhone feels slower, the shutter is not as fast as iPhone and the general UI is just something not as simple as IOS. i have an iphone but i just got it bc it ws cheaper than the top android competitor The user experience and harmony of all the products working seamlessly together. Information across devices, simple to use, facetime simplicity, etc...bluetexter Apple User experience Nothing, I switched to Apple this past year. I dont mind either one, they are both good. Nothing. I like both! Had Galaxy Note 8 and Z Fold 3 before, yes I miss full blown customisation and Androids open system and APK downloads, but the main thing for me not wanting to switch is Ecosystem. Apples ecosystem is unrivalled, simple. Literally everything is pushing me to go back to android. For example I dont have option in keyboard. Long press to show symbol within keyboard keys The stability of system and its good management of the components of the device unlike Android devices. They don`t switch but they have Samsung behind iphone`s back Nothing. I use both. Honestly as per me, iOS just looks and feels more polished despite the lack of features I use both and here are the reasons : No app crash You can charge it with any laptop or device and vroom..its done Face id with MASK Handy and Compatible Size Air drop Ask App not to track feature Security everytime i`ve had an android, I had nothing but problems. Slow Innovation in iOS As someone who has switched back and forth. The reason is quality and consistency. iPhone has everything and works great out of the box. Android has this growing pain where you have to hunt for apps that are better than the usually awful stock apps & sometimes popular 3rd party Overpriced rest all excellent. Security & Privacy I cant move my WhatsApp data and chat history |
