iOS 14.4 RC still has the lag. It returned this morning. Odd issue, but its like it drops frames when swiping up to go back to the home screen.
Strange so far its been running smooth on my iPhone XS.
I noticed that as well on my iPhone 12 Pro this morning, a slight lag, hopefully the final version will finally address the lag..
2 beta releases and then an RC makes no sense to me.
I want my iPad battery life fixed

Yeah, ios 13 took almost 10 months to be near perfect.
Im on 14.3 and Ive been having the lag since 14.2.1, its annoying
You test more, so you know more. Lets hope all these lags and other issues fix soon aaron
No lags for me so far on 11 pro max but Ill keep an eye out
I get rhis this aaron, the point is android counter parts are far more enjoyable when it comes to stability these days. I don`t see the flagship galaxy lineups performing like this. Atleast they don`t stutter ane have battery issues with software builds. Apple needs ios 12again

Try this. Turn off your phone for a week. Lag will go away 100%.

14.3 has been pretty terrible for me on 12 mini. More issues and needed restarts and lags than any prior update I can remember. Worst in a long time. I really hope 14.4 ends up being a much better update.
Which phone do you use? So far so good on my XS.
What kind of lag? I get a lag sometimes on my iphone 7 when i unlock my phone for about 10 seconds until it gets normal.
Likely RC2? or Hard to say?

Is this a thing on iOS 14.3? Or specific to 14.4
Yeah, it usually takes a few hours for it to come back after a fresh install. It`s annoying but probably low on Apple`s priority list unfortunately.
iOS will never be the same as the iOS 6 versions. That OS and all its versions were rock solid. Never had any issues at all.
