Imagine being so dishonest that to make your point,July 2, 2022, 2:30 am Imagine being so dishonest that to make your point, you cherry pick the cheapest Steamdeck model and the most expensive switch model. Sad, really. PC gaming genuinely is the best & honest way to preserve video games, in the way that they were meant to be played. Not shitting on those who do retro collecting, but being able to preserve games digitally, without DRM is pretty friggin`s sweet. Yeah, because emulating games isn`t thinking in the long term.... Ah speaking of TV`s, you can also hook up your Steam Deck to the television too, so that argument also goes out the window. LMFAO JUST LIKE THE SWITCH! Sadly, the steam dock is indefinitely delayed, but you CAN still hook the deck up to a TV. He is purely concerned with instant gratification. Of course you don`t care, but you`re not everybody & everybody isn`t going to spend thousands of dollars, on a flex hobby, like retro gaming collecting. Not only that but if you were to buy a steam deck, you have to pay for the game again. You paid $60 in the past for this game and now you have to pay another 60 just to get it Because of better preservation & the fact that you don`t need to waste a lot of space, collecting $300 video games, just to say "i got the game". To me, that`s a much bigger flex, than buying a steam deck. Real winners, emulate games that are no longer in print, or affordable. And you`re not getting the point, that the fact that i can play a PS4 first party title PORTABLY on the Steam Deck, genuinely should be shameful to Nintendo, because it shows that you can make an affordable gaming handheld, that can play AAA games. Speaking of the PS3, look what else the Steam Deck can play? The only game that I saw myself playing on the playstation 3 was metal gear solid, uncharted and resistance perand resistance. That`s about it. Not to mention they fucked themselves over big time by making online free at the cost of backwards compatibility. That`s what we call buyers remorse, it was like the time a playstation fan tried to tell me that the playstation 3 was 1 of the best consoles ever because I had an xbox 360, yet I had to ask him why he was playing on a 360 instead of his playstation 3 4K/ 60FPS is always better. Plus, better screen filtering too. Plus, you can play those older games online, with those emulator services too. The steam deck is literally going to walk the path of the PSP, it`s going to be completely obsolete and people will forget it ever existed See there`s another thing right there, free DLC`s, the fact that I can pay for a subscription and they are literally just going to give me downloadable content for free is already a perfect deal. @Teknosynth The SteamDeck is really just a flex machine, nothing more. Now that`s a deal. Probably one of the best deals I`ve seen for any console it`s telling you that if you pay this extra you will have a vast library of games to enjoy. That`s a steal. You`re getting something you really need Yeah, you also get a exclusive virtual keyboard, exclusive profile pictures, & an exclusive carrying case, with the more expensive options. What a deal! LMFAO Now notice after i said "no difference", that it was also followed up by, "except more storage". It`s like looking at an Iphone, or an Ipad & paying more for the storage. That`s literally all you`re paying for dawg. The storage. The devices work & operate, just the same. 649 US DOLLARS Yeah I`ll take the switch for $350, and that`s the most advanced Isn`t the most advanced steamdeck over $600 |
