I`ve said some positive & negative things about theJune 23, 2021, 6:12 am Ive said some positive & negative things about the Google TV Stadia experience as it exists today, but Ill say it now: If the GTV manages to enable a new UI when Stadia goes live tomorrow, Ill gladly eat my critique. I HOPE the app shows us something we havent seen yet. I know they may not be able to do much on the CCU end, but I do agree that Stadia is in need of a UI refresh. My CCU lags because of how many games I have, and scrolling through each of them one by one in order to find one specific game is a bit annoying from time to time. I doubt it and probably not until the activity feed etc is done. Flutter seems to be smoother. I agree on that I would love to see something new and refreshing once the launch is official, but I don`t actually expect it for that time, or even around it. Stadia seems to always take the launch-basic-first improve-later approach for almost everything From 9to5s breakdown the team spent time building the app with flutter. The CCU UI may have been the goal to reach since it was visibly attainable. Future iterations NEED to have significant improvements if this is the case Sadly I don`t think they will have a new UI. At least not anytime soon, They probably think that it`s at least good enough for the time being. Agreed 100% ! It is my MOST requested update from them I really want a "gaming" section similar to live tv. Put all your stadia stuff (with controller code) and any android games you`ve bought + recommendations in one tab. |
