I know Xcode has a lot of problems, butOctober 26, 2021, 7:05 pm I know Xcode has a lot of problems, but we should remember 3 things: 1. Nothing is perfect 2. Xcode devs are not perfect (we are not perfect too ). 3. Xcode has given us the opportunity to work as iOS/ macOS/ tvOS/ watchOS developer. So, let`s be grateful for what we have. Also, it`s free! What an amazing toolchain for $0. To be fair lets compare it to Android Studio - and it lacks in every aspect Actually, I don`t know what works even better now. Xcode is quite good. Let us be grateful for all we have! Xcode makes me be more grateful about using IntelliJ LMAO Agreed but Xcode 13 has been a disappointment After using AndroidStudio for a while. I want to come to Cupertino and say thanks to everyone who took part in the creation of Xcode What is the point of this tweet? :) Xcode doesnt have a half features from another good ides for java or c. And on mac it doesnt work like native app. Its soo slow as its created with one of JS desktop frameworks Xcode is foundational to iOS devs work. Apple has had decades to fix it and hasnt. It needs a rewrite I am reading this while xcode is freezing on my machine What are the troubles Xcode OS X Monterrey? Im still waiting to upgrade Nice. FWIW I really like the Xcode experience. Flashy enough but not too flash. Has some nice touches. It continues to get better. I aspire to make something that good. Agree but some time we developer faced so much trouble just because of Xcode. We Dev have to wait for stable version of it. I learned to cope with Xcode and i use it as the main side for everything, even my ms-dos game project I think everyone who complains about it is justified and Xcode is a shambles. Apple should thank developers for the pain they take to develop great apps on XC. If you cant handle indexing/ autocomplete, maybe you should stop developing fancy features that are just cherry on top Im cool with this *until* XCTest dylib is missing. Then, all bets are off. Xcode is still a horrible and not properly planned tool. Most of the time its slowing or blocking the development instead of helping or speeding it up. It still has the same issues after years and years. My students are constantly impressed with the tool. Code completion and related info as you type make it so much easier to introduce complex topics quickly. It keeps improving. Sounds like a communist`s defence of the Sowjet Union. I actually am happy with Xcode but if you have no alternative there is a very high scrutiny due. Mb its not perfect, still its great! Nothing is perfect but its necessary to strive for the ideal. So that your mean is we can`t complain about it.:v |
