I have an older iphone and currently use a pixel as my main phone. I love community but also deeply value inclusivity. Accessibility for the non apple crowd is important. Once allows android users to join, I am excited to see what Marketing Twitter can really do.

Yes but also I would 110% go back to my flip phone and back to the Joy of Missing Our if I didnt depend on my smartphone for work

I`m also a pixel user and curious how clubhouse works. Without knowing, it sounds like the old school party line...I am very much dating myself :) How does one get a word in without cutting someone off? I imagine chaos. Enlighten me please

I wonder if they are actually working on an android version. I thought I had read somewhere they were.

I heard the Pixel has a wonderful camera.

I won`t give up my Pixel and there`s enough chauvinist tech bros on Twitter, so I don`t know if I need another platform for that. I know some great people on there trying to make real and good things happen, but the insecurities of said tech bros is loud.

I`ve had this conversation nearly daily. People are asking why I`m not on it/extending invites and I can`t because they`ve had months to release an android app and still are keeping it gated to iOS. If it`s valued at 100M, hire a team to get this sorted.

I tried downloading it after it seemed half of marketing twitter was using it, but I have the old iPhone issue. The standard iPhone 6 cant get iOS13 to be able to even download it.

I feel like even an open iOS-only app would be more inclusive than a closed party for both platforms. I feel like scaling up their infrastructure is more relevant at this stage.

Same here

I had a friend pushing me to this morning but, 1) I have Android and 2) I`m still not convinced I need another channel. Distraction and spreading ourselves thin is a way bigger issue in my mind than "new" audience/platforms.

The FOMO as a Pixel user is real

this is a good point, Android is the dominant OS in the rest of the world. Yes, its a messy device ecosystem, but iOS-only apps are a misstep (after you`ve gotten off the ground, I recognize prioritization and limited resources)

Can`t wait
