i don`t like how people act like emulation isJuly 17, 2021, 7:38 pm i don`t like how people act like emulation is a replacement for the real thing more like an unofficial, generally more affordable alternative for the real thing i understand some people just cant get into emulation, but if anything its a better experience. the ganes look way better upscaled, and you can use any controller. things like super mario world widescreen really enhance the game. Emulating old games is always a good thing emulating new stuff isnt i think its a good way to preserve games I see it as a bit of a case by case thing. Like generally I like playing on OG hardware, I love that experience in its own right and only see emulation as a last resort. Though in some ways for some games emulation is a pretty big benefit, since it opens up more possibilities. yeah ik i just thought it was worth mentioning Persona fans would benefit from emulation so they can finally play a Persona game. Got an Android phone? Emulate 1, 2 and 3. Got a PSP? Eternal Punishment bonus. Got a PS3? Pirate it all. it really depends often times emulation can be better than the official product and besides a lot of official rereleases of games are emulation Unless a game gets Remastered or ported to new consoles Id rather just emulate it on PC tbh Because "haha piracy haha Nintendo bad amirite" Now you`re speaking my language |
