I am now tweeting from my very first iPhoneOctober 27, 2021, 11:47 am I am now tweeting from my very first iPhone ever! So did I join the dark side, or the did I leave the dark side? That`s where I am! I enjoy their free 256 Kbps data and texts in 280 countries, and free hour of GoGo per flight (although admittedly not very useful for the past 2 years). I was an Android user from the T-Mobile G1 until last year. Well over a dozen Android phones - almost all flagships. iPhone SE (2020) and now an iPhone 12 mini, love them. No plans to go back to Android. did they give you cookies? techjoke I gave Android a one year trial when I had to drop Win Phone. Hated it. Now 2 1/2 years on iPhone, and I`m fine with it. It`s clumsy to get files on/off, especially music. But the design flaws don`t send me into fits of incandescent rage - like Android did frequently. After I retired I switched everything to Apple and couldn`t be more pleased. It just works, and the convenience is astonishing coming from Windows/Android. Welcome to the dark side. The only good side ! Considering all the recent media, I`d say you left one dark for another dark :D Android and Apple both are far from perfect. I am switching between both back and forth. Currently using the new Duo 2 and wished I could download most apps as PWAs instead of using the Google store. Maybe the MS PWA store? Happy so far? I`ve used Android, and Windows Phone since forever. The apps seem to get worse every day, tempted to switch to iOS Do you use a Mac as well? Poor thing... Did you buy a replacement charger already or is ot too soon? You left the dark side. You will. You willllllll You obviously haven`t used the iPhone for long. I don`t feel the inferior browsing pays off for slightly better average app quality. But to me the minimum ownership age of a phone is 4 years, ethical/environmental perspective. I don`t feel like I can bet on an Android and get that. Oh, MSFT stuff runs smooth on iOS. The Apple experience works better when you have all the things - watch, phone, tv, airpods, macs, ipads & more .. just keep shelling out money. I walked through darkness before getting my first iPhone 2 years ago. I owned 4 Windows Phones and 2 Androids. I wish I found the light earlier in life. Would like diamonds with your jewelry? Welcome to everything working. You`re barred from leaving the walled garden .. like ever. You poor soul! teampixel If everyone else in your family is also in Apple camp, it should certainly make your life easier A Bad Jedi, or a Good Sith, that is the question Yeh, unfortunately outside the Pixel phones produced by Google, the Android devices all seems to be full of crapware. Google has, and continues to, deliver a premium experience on Pixel - I`m still using a Pixel 3, with the latest Android beta and have very few complaints Welcome to the side where everything just works ;) Just a different shade of gray What made you jump ship - Watching the recent Apple and Google announcements, I don`t understand the recent Apple-love that`s going on. Complete lack of imagination of where the iPhone can go, compared with the innovation coming from Google. Interested to hear what others think |
