Hey @PodcastAddict why isn`t this the default screen whenDecember 4, 2021, 1:41 am Hey why isn`t this the default screen when I bring up the app mid episode?!! Any way to do that? Too many clicks daily to get back to this. You can do this by using the `opening screen` widget. It`s a 1x1 widget that opens the app on the screen of your choice The player notification is displayed on your device notificaiton drawer just like with every other existing player app. You don`t have to make room for the widget. Just replace the app launcher icon with the 1x1 widget. It takes the exact same place on your screen If the player notification doesn`t work then it means that you`re on Android 12 or the app is being optimized by the device. In tha case make sure to exclude teh app from teh device optimized apps list. BTW why don`t you use the dedicated widget to do this? For example most users use the player notification to control the playback or open the app. After that the next group use widgets. But 95% of the podcasts are listened to in the background (without the app Ui being opened after playback was started) I`m siorry but I don`t understand what`s preventing you to do so. Why do you need to reopen the player screen multiple time to do this? Everyone think that the way they use an app is the way everyone else will use it. I can assure you that this is not true. The app allows you to customize it so it will work exactly as you want it to. That way it can accomodate most users Again if you want to open the app on the player screen, then replace the app launcher icon with the dedicated widget that will open the app on the screen of your choice If you use the app launcher icon then the app default screen is displayed instead As explained in my previous answer if you want to reopen on the player screen, either use the widget or the player notification to open the app OR navigate the recent apps on your device to reopen the last displayed screen If you want a quick access to the player screen you can use the widget If you navigate to the list of open apps the app reopens on the last screen. If you press on the player notification or on the widget, the app opens on the player screen. If you open the app using the app launcher icon, the app opens on its default screen |
