Galaxy Note 3 about to debut; September 4August 6, 2013, 12:09 pm With a tagline "Note the date", Samsung`s invitations sent to press give a clue as to what we can expect announced on that date! It seems that l ike the two previous generations of Note phablets, the Note 3 will be unveiled at the annual technology trade show IFA in Berlin, this time at a special event entitled Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2. The original Note was the first "phablet" ; a mix between a phone and tablet that made many skeptical about its sales. Many at the time predicted its doom to fail, but Samsung`s innovative engineers proved right. The "phablets" were very successful and a new market was created. The Note 2, released last September was an instant hit. It sold 5 million pieces in the first month of its release. The Note 3 is expected to have a 5.7-inch 1080p screen and trademark S Pen stylus. That same day in New York, Samsung will also host a live broadcast event and "first hands-on experience of the next Galaxy" for the media in Times Square at 1 p.m. ET. |
