Having to hook the damn thing up to system for a Gamepad update is ludicrous also.
Another misguided pony...Or just a battery pack... You keep a phone for about 2 years before you upgrade.... These controllers are supposed to last 10 years and I can tell you the PS controllers won`t The battery will go out.

Charge the thing. You can literally play for 2 days straight before it needs recharged. Y`all need to stop with the blatant disinformation
Pretzels twitter phone/battery pack ideal for those long twitter sessions Eh, I feel like my PS5 controller dies pretty quickly and I would appreciate the option of batteries but it`s not a huge deal. Doesnt help that my PS5 is pretty far from my sofa so having it charging all the time can be a pain especially in online games.
You mean like this? Why not buy a longer cable? You can use the same cables for said phones
