for some reason - my sister-in-law and her daughtersJanuary 25, 2021, 8:24 pm for some reason - my sister-in-law and her daughters all use Iphones and Macs...all my male relatives OTOH went with Samsung and Windows/Linux. Why do women prefer the apple ecosystem? ...whats a vacation? Desktop for the win. But for travel, I gotta go with a laptop. Especially writing on the fly. I bought my first Macbook because of the aluminum frame for that reason. Its true. My work gave me a Lenovo and I HATE it. If I need something typed up fast, mac air ftw and no straining. My pc was almost five when it died during phd comps...and ever since Ive been like screw that noise lol My mac has written SO MUCH and put up with so much, theyve won my heart. Also I have tiny womanly hands and some of the pc laptop keyboards are obv built for giant hands. Ubuntu is really great. In fact, I`ve used lubuntu (a super lightweight distro) on older systems before. It had been a while since I toyed with Red Hat / Fedora so I decided to check it out. I used to use android and pcs, until my pc crashed and I inherited a mac air that is still going strong after nine years. Switched to iPhone this summer to escape the bloatware on android devices...and I like it for the most part, but well see. Def love Mac computers though. I have a Samsung phone and a Mac laptop and fyi, I actually know tons of men that use a Mac and have an iPhone. Meanwhile I`m here with a Windows desktop, an iMac running Red Hat Linux and a Macbook with OSX. |
