Don`t choose your stack based on trends
Don`t choose your stack based on trends. Choose based on what you`re going to build. Want to play with WordPress in the future and build plugins? learn PHP Front-end Web apps? Learn JS/React/Vue/Svelte. Machine Learning? Learn Python Mobile Apps? Java/Swift/Flutter

Quite good simplicity. Trends are not so bad. Long term trends are most valuable. You probably thought about short time trends Not only what you build is important, but for who and with who you are building software. And finally when it has to be delivered

Exactly! If i want to hammer in a nail i use a hammer, not a microscope

If you are religious about a technology you are probably not going to choose the best one.

React native for mobile apps too if your app is not too complicated. Works for both iOS + android

I never worked on any of them but I am still a Full Stack developer and developed apps, websites, games, softwares, tv apps and even iot applications also. Guess my tech stack ?

Thanks for saying it out loud. My first question to a client is what do you want to achieve? After that we can talk about stack.

React native vs flutter? ( for a dating kind of app)

Use also nocode solutions to build it quicker

You are so right Csaba! Never follow trends just because others also follow. Follow them because you are truly believing in it and your are happy working with it

So happy flutter is part of the list :)

Nicely Summed Up Csaba

Want embedded system Go to learn c and C++ and python

Hey, trends can be good too! All the frontend components you mentioning are trending :)

Web Scraping? Python or Node

But my life changes when I started learning stuff with trend. When I first time learned react, vue was a raising one too.. But react opens a lots of door for me - doubled/tripled what I was earning with php (fullstack) onsite jobs + become a fulltime remote worker.

Boring is good, I just pick the tech I already know.

thanks Csaba cleared few thoughts

And also not want to confuse beginners by introducing Haskell or closure. I got it

There are endless languages for endless domains. I can just keep adding.

Learn c++ or c for games
