Crypto native iPhone usersJune 27, 2022, 7:04 pm Crypto native iPhone users Is phone enough to pull you out of the Apple ecosystem? Comment below why you would or wouldnt be willing to leave your iPhone behind. I know theres no competitive open-source alternative, yet, but Android still has Google code at its core collecting data. Most of the people dont understand why we need a nft phone! I would only exit my iPhone if the Saga phone has a great native text messaging app, email and camera. Will have to wait and see. honestly maybe, but also maybe just get both if I end up being serious enough about crypto to justify it will the pics your mom sent me be onchain? We need a actual product to determine that Because I rebooted my iPhone less time than solana did over 2 years I think this is the closest I`ve ever come to considering leaving my iPhone. The biggest thing for me is the ability to convert USD into USDC and vice versa at will from my phone natively. I`ve also been looking into using to keep my blue bubbles even while on android I could use it as a secondary phone, but definitely not as a main one This is just because of all the features a complete Apple ecosystem provides Imho focus shouldn`t be on building another phone hoping to sell to the mass, but on a trusted jailbreak so *we* (and not apple or google) can decide what we install on our $1,000 phones. Anyone knows a project working on this? People are going to adopt crypto on their mobile device over a desktop browser, especially if there`s enhanced security. They aren`t necessarily going to know the difference between a dapp and an app, if the UX is streamlined and pain free, adoption happens more easily. Never Would any features be missing? Im not sure but its very close Will I buy the Solana Saga? Yes. Will I keep my iPhone? Also yes. Never leaving apple iMessage, itll always be iMessage If the phone runs smoothly and well and its ui is innovative then it has a good shot Theyd have to create a technology ecosystem to compete with Apple and dare I say that is damn near impossible. I believe software is more valuable than any new hardware. Im rocking both Bruv Toshi 2 phones I never pull out I voted on behalf of iPhone users as a disillusioned blackberry user forced to use Android because its the best alternative and no I`m not jadded. I voted no I will stick with Apple for now Android > chrome extensions 1/3 said yes, another third would jump the ship if the phone is good enough. Thats pretty high initial demand, I would say. I like I message Im just going to have 2 phones its not us or them. Its Solana and apple the phone sounds like an april fools day joke Id rather buy goblin toilet paper than this. And thats saying something And those of us who are not poor will own two phones I will have both at first If youre a iOS maxi your NGMI. No. Small vendors struggle with many things, including security updates. I fail to see how this will be any different. No idea why they didn`t partner with OnePlus or another niche vendor to release a special edition with the software they want, since that seems to be the focus no. way too much invested over the years in content (music, movies etc.). However, I plan to have 2 mobile devices (apple & solana) until has a more robust ecosystem. Then maybe Ill drop apple. lol iphone users are part of a cult, they wont leave, they didn`t leave when software updates ruined their battery life you think they will leave ever loooooooooool I will enjoy best of both worlds for sure I love the software approach. Absolutely. But I don`t get the decision to make a phone. I actually think the resources to produce and maintain a product like that would be better spend in pushing the eco system in the already well established mobile eco systems. keeping my iphone for a hotspot for the solana phone Agreed, but can`t this also be addressed without making someone switch to an entirely new device from a relatively unknown company? Now this is what I`m talking about. Decentralized full mobile stack from the HW up to the SW. Think Helium is mostly low bandwidth data though, right? I will have to try it first and then make the call No because iMessage So that your SOL when the network goes down every couple weeks? Lmao Ill just try it but the only phone that can make me switch from IOS is the Tesla Pi Yes not V1 but eventually They could easily shipped SMS as a library for Android and quite possibly for iPhone. This phone will fiddle just like the nothing phone Feels like it could have good market adoption globally. But it`ll be hard to break Apple`s chokehold on the American market. Being crypto native is the only thing that would make me switch. Will prob operate two phones for a period. This guy No, but that is not the . The public still doesn`t know enough about crypto/NFTs for a phone to make sense. Most people in the space don`t even interact with dApps that exist. Nothing will ever beat iOS UI and UX. Its speedy and smooth and never had it freeze on me. I know isnt like this, but I hope + android makes a difference. SMS is open sauce. Send pull requests. You tell me I dont have your resources. The solution is: two phones! iPhone + Saga I pre ordered the Solana phone. Also not getting rid of my iphone. Now I`ll just have a crypto phone and my iphone Because I expect my phone to work Ive been needing an excuse to switch from apple anyways, apple sucks, the constant updates and new phones every 6 months. Anyone here considered investing in the BHAT token, right? People are going crazy about it, and the reason is that they`re creating a marketplace that accepts cryptocurrency We dont know anything about the OS, UX/UI, connection to computer and stuff.. Ill take the ETH phone instead Cause ios is safer Check out our latest research here. |
