Can`t wait for all these React Native apps gettingSeptember 24, 2021, 6:40 am Can`t wait for all these React Native apps getting rewritten in Flutter I cant get over how some things always feel wrong in Flutter apps, even big ones like eBay motors, the scrolling has a weird jank that feels off on an iPhone. Reminds me of when I was building menus for games and couldnt get that proper smooth iOS bounce effect. I don`t think it is going to happen anytime soon. I have been an Android Dev for some time and switched to cross-platform more than two years ago. First to RN, then to Flutter, lately to RN back again. Both have benefits, but working on Expo improves a lot your RN experience. Checkout was previously developed on react later rewritten in flutter Maybe you need to read this: I doubt that`s ever going to happen because Google isn`t requiring it`s own developers to build apps only in Flutter. They allow apps being written in Java & Kotlin internally, that makes a huge difference! Also React vs Dart I don`t know what you are saying. Thousands of surface of Facebook app is using react native and react native re-architechture is already ready and its really compatible with flutter. Why all of these react native app will rewritten in flutter. What do you mean by all these ? Have you ever worked on react native ? For me both are awesome why would you rewrite a React Native app to Flutter? React & React Native uses ZeroVer versioning system. The major version will always be 0, that does not mean it`s not production-ready. A lot of other projects use it. Never gonna happen .... app development is so expensive why would anyone do that ... Soon... at the minimum least with Flutter I don`t have to battle the build process (especially on Android), to get 1/10 builds to be successful due to random errors in the build process I bookmarked this: (just to get a "chance" of building). Never again! And in a few years, rewrite in other lang hahahahahaa Was about to but couldn`t find the OTA update feature of expo in flutter. you in 2079 waiting Or better Not writing apps at all and using webapps Oh, got it Seems quite right but how`s different from major versions being released every 2-3 months? React native is going deprecated? Brooo lol. I got a cert in react native then immediately re-wrote everything in flutter ! Ha! I have at least one of them |
