Apple is blocking Apple Silicon Mac users from sideloadingJanuary 16, 2021, 10:48 am Apple is blocking Apple Silicon Mac users from sideloading iPhone apps iOS apps rely on App Store to check whether or not the user have legally purchased the app, so this might be good for developers. Hoping someone will release an app to bypass this For the love of god, if Epic loses their case we are all so screwed. So now people have to jailbreak their Macs...great This is why I stick with Android I mean, apple has never allowed sideloading ios apps as far as I can remember. Not sure how it would be different rules on a laptop. They keep their stuff locked down. If people cant download or use the Apps theyll just not buy Apple Products.Might be cutting their noses off to spite their faces Had a feeling this was coming, hope not but I think soon it will be that all apps has to come from the App Store If they`re not gonna implement some sort of side-loading feature in iOS 15, iPhone will become my secondary phone. Apple: *being a monopoly* US Government: the most competition friendly company we`ve ever seen in our lives How long before this is either allowed or bypassed? |
