Anybody saying Sony will release games day and date on pc for most of their games in the future are foolish. I notice this mainly comes from the x box fanboys. The reasons are simple as to why they won`t. It`s all about money.
Yeah Ive seen people make the argument In a few years from now PS games will arrive day one on PC but Xbox and PlayStation are in completely different situations. PS consoles and games are selling way more than Xbox, they dont need PC.
Xbox fans just want them to so they`ll have a legitimate argument and that`s it.
People with brains know this, HZD got nearly 1/10 of its entire sales in one month on pc vs the several years it on was just on ps4. Im not saying day and date (which btw is such a stupid phrase) but I definitely see Sony focusing more and more on the pc side.
agreed its win win if they wait, PC only gamers will still buy them even if its 18 months after console, and people who game on console and PC you have the chance of double dipping
Yup, Sony was watching rockstar sell PC gamers 2 copies of their games by putting 18months between console and PC releases The day Sony put all exclusives on pc day 1 is the day Sony have given up on consoles and become a software platform
Been saying this too - some people just think Sony HAS to do it cos of Xbox, but don`t understand that SOny is in the power position. Day and date is unnecessary. More than likely they`ll predominantly be 1 to several years after releasing on PlayStation, as they`ve done before.

Releasing a game on PC doesnt take away from the console experiance, nor do console players benefit from having a game that another platform doesnt I hope Sony stay that way.
I don`t understand why this simple concept is so hard. Even by Sony`s own reports, the PC market is 3rd in revenue potential by a significant margin and mobile is 1st. It is far more money in drawing to getting a PS5 because that draws in more engagement than Day n Date. (1/2)

FACTS I Mainly game on PC ..however i do buy consoles "If i find a game that convinces me to buy the console for" i missed the last Gen Xbox One mainly because it started releasing their games on PC starting with Quantum Break & not planning to get XSX "for the same reason"
I agree but some people like myself don`t care if games are on PC because it`s a much better experience on consoles. Also you didn`t take into account that some games sell on MS store as well where they get the cut, and sony still gets paid if they release their games on steam
It`s true. The xbox console isn`t the primary concern for Microsoft. Playstation is where they are most suited to be. Microsoft is going to push the sub services and continue to grow its revenue and money. That`s why Sony has to sell 100 million consoles and Xbox 50 million.

Never day and date, I just frankly never see that happening. At most maybe a couple months after release and thats a big maybe. their able to afford this because 1.) really PS owners only option 2.) Most PS owners like myself have no problem paying full price for quality.
