Anybody got the pixel 5? My iPhone 12 Pro Max is back to being terrible again.
Oh man, Im sorry to hear all that. Sounds incredibly frustrating too. These devices arent cheap so you expect them to be reliable. I hope can squash some bugs for ya!
Yes from not loading to closing apps out of no where to losing internet connection over WiFi. Not a fan.
Its sad that the n/w is adding up to the issues

Finally has admitted theres a widespread iPhone 12 issue! I strongly recommend you to check with Apple to replace the device and try! It should be fine. They cant make phone that doesnt work.
Im guys and nothing convince me to move another platform. So far Im using all versions of iPhones and its pretty good for me!

I`ve been using an iPhone Xs for 2 years + and it works just fine. And about the Pixel 5, a close friend recently upgraded from the Pixel 4 and he absolutely loves it.
Agree, apps are solid. Always found Android`s notification system to be significantly more customizable than Apple`s. no replacement for iMessage, but Android Messages has a really nice Web UI that allows you to text without picking up your phone
Yeah! Main apps I use: slack, MSTF teams, google meet, FB, twitter, whatsapp, gmail and all good
Not at all. It`s very fast. I had the Pixel 2 too and it was very fast as well. Pixel 5: Camera is great, spam blocker is awesome, remote charging, charge other devices with your phone, etc. has Pixel 5 too
My iPhone 11 Pro Max has 2-3 days of battery with 8-10 hours screen time Sad to hear the 12 is having issues Im on the horrible Sprint (now T-Mobile) network. So it is difficult to imagine your issue is Verizon. I had these issues with a Pixel 1 years ago.
Also, you can go to in your browser (and install the PWA if you want) and text from your computer.
Pixel 5 is awesome. Battery life is 2-3 days with like 8h of screen time. Overall fluid UI, I see an occasional stutter in a couple of apps but chalk that up to the apps rather than device. Hard to argue with the price too, great value.

I don`t. But, I`m looking at the Samsung S21s. I read one article comparing the S20 to the Pixel 5(?) and the Samsung`s seemed to be clearly better. I`m also trying to find the best deal overall with Verizon, T-Mobile, or Google Fi.
And equally my biggest pet peeve. The worst is being in an thread with Apple users all using emoji reactions. Tom liked "I`ll meet for lunch." Pete heart "Can`t wait it`ll be great. Mary laughes "Don`t be late."

Works great with the few others also with it enables on Android. Now if only it worked with imessage.

Their budget phones are pretty lame (I have the SE) and it`s disappointing - the apple ecosystem is nice though (airpods ironically got me back into iOS )
I doubt these issues are very specific to this unit. I didnt hear these many issues with any of friends using the same device. May be get it replaced!

Last Pixel was the 3 but I miss it tbh - the Pixel is just a better phone imo (I really miss the camera software)
