Acer`s retired founder takes over, CEO steps down after just 15 days!

There`s an awful lot happening over at Acer at the moment. The hi-tech manufacturer is in a turmoil of change after recently posting a huge loss.
Just a couple weeks after Acer`s CEO and Chairman JT Wang stepped down, Jim Wong, Acer`s next CEO,
has also left the business! Acer must be in a great strain after posting a huge loss and wrote-off value from its family-brands Gateway and Packard Bell. And all this tension, apparently changed the fate of its executives.
In an effort of the company`s revival, founder Stan Shih will now come out of retirement and take over the role of chairman and interim president, and all that "without salary".Moreover, co-founder George Huang will also join the old-school management team.
Starting today, Shih will have to take responsibility for day-to-day decisions for Acer.
Interestingly, even though JT Wang and Jim Wong may have taken on them all the weight for Acer`s recent huge losses, both of the executives will still stick around "to ensure a smooth transition" at the top of the Taiwanese company.
